Every now and then, I am left without words. The simple beauty in these Sarasota dancer portraits takes my breath away. I love the custom white Gaynor Minden pointe shoes paired with the traditional white tutu and leotard juxtaposed with the deep green pine-tree-lined trail. The raw skill and technique of a dancer are often documented in-studio photographs. However, the art of dance is captured so beautifully in nature. Shanna LaFleur once said, “It takes an athlete to dance, but an artist to be a dancer.”
